Salty Dog is available as either three bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms OR individually as either two bedrooms & 1.5 bathrooms OR an efficiency unit with a full bath.
This listing is for both units together.
This condominium at The Reef in Marathon, Middle Keys is a true resort setting with a “home away from home” feel. This updated unit is fresh, and comfortable. One unit features 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The other unit is an efficiency with full bathroom and kitchenette. The 2bedroom unit features an open kitchen/living/dining floor plan. The bedding consist of 1 king, 1 queen on the two bedroom side plus a full bathroom off the master and a half bath off the guest bedroom. The efficeincy will have a full bathroom and a queen bed with. The onsite pool is surrounded by comfortable chairs to lounge in and all guests are welcome to complimentary use of onsite bikes, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats for exploring. Plus there are tennis courts, laundry facility, shuffleboard, ping pong, and BBQ grills onsite to grill some freshly caught fish.
There is dockage available through The Reef Resort office and here are the restrictions for dockage & use of the ramp
Boat ramp can be used for anything 20ft and under. Max boat length at the docks will be 30ft and under. Renters must register boats & trailers with front office prior to arrival.
Also, you are centrally located and just minutes away from parks, nature centers, grocery store, shopping, farmer’s market, turtle hospital, dolphin research center, aquarium encounters, restaurants, and beaches.
Please note that if you plan on bringing or renting a boat, jet skis or other water crafts, we can only guarantee that one will fit at the dock. Please make sure to confirm the dock size, space for trailer parking and if more than one vessel is allowed. This property allows ONE boat & ONE trailer only.
This property is “NOT pet friendly” so pets are not allowed on the property. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a charge up to $500 and asked to vacate without a refund.

I think the only thing that could have been improved really had nothing to do with the property management or owners. I just wish we could have used the kayaks later so that we could watch the sunset on the water. Not a big deal, but would have been nice.
